Frequently asked questions

What levels of Greek do you teach?

I teach Greek to students of all levels–from complete beginners (A1) to advanced learners (C1).

Do you teach any other languages apart from Greek?

Yes, I also teach Italian! If you're curious about the language or want to start learning, you're more than welcome to join my Italian lessons too. You can book them through the same schedule as the Greek ones.

Can you help me prepare for the Greek exam required for citizenship or a Greek passport?

Yes! I offer targeted preparation for the official Πιστοποίηση Ελληνομάθειας exam, which is required for Greek citizenship (ιθαγένεια). Lessons focus on the skills tested in the exam: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I provide practice materials, mock exams, and support to help you feel confident and ready for the test.

How long does it take to learn Greek?

It depends on your level, time commitment, and goals. With regular practice (20–30 minutes a day), you can reach basic conversational level in a few months.

How often should I take lessons?

Most students take 1–2 lessons per week. Consistency is key, and I’ll help you create a study plan that fits your schedule.

Do you give homework or extra practice?

Yes, if you want! I can give optional exercises or fun activities to help you keep learning between lessons.

Can I book lessons even if I live in a different time zone?

Yes! I teach students from all over the world and offer flexible scheduling based on your time zone.

Do you speak other languages?

Yes! I speak English, Italian, and French. This helps me explain Greek grammar and vocabulary clearly, especially for beginners.

What happens if I miss a lesson or need to cancel?

You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours in advance without a fee.
